MANILA – Fair weather with occasional cloudy skies will dominate across the Philippines on Monday, PAGASA said.

Weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said there are no monitored low pressure areas and no expected weather disturbances in the coming days.

However, isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may still occur across the archipelago.

High temperatures are expected, reaching 36°C in Tuguegarao and 35°C in Zamboanga.

The heat index could peak at 42°C in Sangley Point, Cavite, while Metro Manila may record 38°C to 39°C.

Moderate winds and coastal waters are forecast for eastern sections of the country,
while the rest will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
