SANTA MARIA, Bulacan — Around 300 beneficiaries of the National Housing for the Filipino Program, also known as the 4PH, received their housing units during a ceremonial turnover held on Tuesday (03 Mar 2026) here at Barangay Catmon, a development known as Santa Maria Highlands.
The project is a condominium-type socialized housing initiative under the flagship housing program of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., implemented through the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and the Pag-IBIG Fund.
The program aims to address the country’s shortage of affordable housing and provide decent homes for Filipino families.
The housing development was carried out through the joint efforts of the national government, the Office of the Representative of the Sixth District of Bulacan, and the local government of Santa Maria.
Leading the turnover ceremony were DHSUD Secretary Ramon Aliling, Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta, Bulacan 6th District Representative Ador Pleyto, Santa Maria Mayor Omeng Ramos, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, and Barangay Catmon officials headed by Barangay Captain Dino Adriano.
According to Rep. Pleyto, the project will greatly benefit residents of Santa Maria by providing affordable homes with quality living conditions and a better lifestyle.
